My kids are growing so fast.
Shania will turn 8 on 6 Dec. Ted will be 4 next Valentine’s Day. Both of them know how to negotiate with me and hubby. For example.. When I ask Ted to take his shower, he’d answer ‘wait mum, 5 minutes’ just because he wants to finish the cartoon he’s watching! When he’s in the shower, and I tell him ‘That’s enough Ted!’, he’d answer ‘5 minutes, mum!’ I don’t think he knows how long 5 minutes is lah. Hmm, I think he got this from the big sister.
When I get home from work, I usually bising-bising when the house is in a mess. Today, before I could say anything, he asked me ‘is it messy?’
Shania is also a 2-minute or 5-minute girl. ‘Naya, go take your shower!’ ‘Ok, mummy, 2 minutes’. See what I mean?
For now, Tessa coos and gurgles. So, no ‘5 minutes mum’ yet! ![]()
