A Blessed Pentecost Sunday

Acts 2:1-4

1When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. [...]

Of Mananom & Mongomot

I’m one of those unlucky ones who haven’t had the chance (YET!) to experience harvesting (mongomot, in Kadazan) paddy. How sad is that? The only consolation I have is that I’ve planted (mananom) paddy (many years ago) along with the experience being covered in mud and all. I don’t remember being bitten by leeches though… I planted 1 long line [...]

Computer Man

My brother-in-law (hubby’s brother) is a computer man. Whenever he comes to visit us, I always ask him to service my laptop. He always says “Yeah, sis, why am I not surprised? I’ve expected you to ask me to do so!” He is really our handy computer man in the family, and he [...]

A New House

My parents’ house was built in 1987 in our hometown. However, due to a serious termite problem, the house had to be torn down to make way for a new one. The site has been cleared and the termite control team has checked out the area. Construction will begin in the middle or latest the end of June, after the [...]

Everything About Soccer

My hubby is a big fan of Liverpool FC. He would wake up in the wee hours of morning to watch a live match. I guess, there are many out there who are really into futsal and/or soccer. Even our children are interested. In fact, just recently, hubby bought them a little football with [...]

My To-Do List

I will only return to work in early July. Isn’t that blissful? I’m still deciding whether to take additional leave for say another week or so. We shall see near the return-to-office date, eh?
So, what’s my to do list after my confinement? For now, these are the things I want to do:
1. First thing [...]

If I Were A Farmer

As I have mentioned in my post earlier, I am now hooked on farming in Facebook’s Farm Town. It is such an interesting and fun game and it makes me feel like a real farmer!
Anyway, if I were a real farmer, I would get myself a Muck Shoes. Why? Because they don’t [...]

It’s Tresor

For the last many years, I have been looking for that one perfume which would really suit me. I tried a few brands and finally, I found it a few years ago. It is the enduring Trésor by Lancome.
Trésor spells romance, emotions and sensuality. I love the smell so much. I don’t think I will change my perfume. I actually [...]

My Confinement Story

By next week, my confinement period will be over.
The first week was the worst - no, it’s not the confinement itself - but the super pain from my c-sec wound… Laughing, coughing or sneezing don’t help! Another ‘minor’ wound was my cracked nipples from breastfeeding. I know some friends don’t have this problem - lucky [...]
