Dreams do come true if you don’t stop believing and making things happen. I’m truly grateful to God…

Most of us have gone through the worst experiences or to make it sound more severe, the worst nightmares. There are times we get totally upset when things don’t turn out the way we planned. I have gone through a series of disappointments in life. How ideal life would be if things always work out according to what we want, eh? But no, life isn’t like that, is it?

In good or bad times, God is always my refuge. Turning to Him in prayers - sometimes a desperate one, sometimes a happy prayer. As I’m writing now, I do wonder why certain things are happening…

But you know what, I still believe things do happen for a reason.

“God answers prayers -

YES: He gives you what you want;

NO: He gives you something better;

WAIT: He gives you His best in His time…”

Shania loves anything with chillies. Honestly, we didn’t mean to allow her to eat chillies! It started when she was about 2 years old. I was having my curry noodles. I told her it’s too hot, but she insisted on trying. So I thought, after tasting it a bit, she wouldn’t want it because it’s too spicy. So I let her try. To my surprise, she said, yummy!! OMG! She’s not choosy about food, well, as long as it’s spicy..

Tedorik is very choosy when it comes to food. Most of the time he prefers his chocolate milk,  plain rice with soy sauce, chips or assam laksa noodles. But oh, he loves ice cream and chocolates.

As for my lil Tessa, she is not choosy at all. She would want to eat all the time, apart from drinking her milk. But no spicy food for her yet lah!

So, how about your kids? Or yourself?

We had a lovely dinner at Secret Recipe last night. The kids wanted to light a candle on their respective cake slices too! tsk,tsk, tsk.. ambil kesempatan betul oh..

There were lucky draws, games, dancing… The games were, err, quite ‘adult’ rated! But fun anyhow.. We loved the songs - really, there were from OUR generation! haha Jason Donovan, Kylie Minogue, Rick Ashley, Michael Jackson, etc.

There’ll be another reunion in 2012. Hopefully more friends will attend!

Anyways….. how are we? I’m recovering from bacterial infection in my colon… Yuck, huh? First time this… No wonder the diarrhoea was persistent… All is almost well now…. Need to take medication for 5 days.

Earth Day is designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment. However, for me, Earth Day is Everyday.

So, what is your plan to commemorate Earth Day?

Our department is organising  EPD Hunt (a mini treasure hunt) for our staff during lunch time today. I’m super excited! All questions are based on the environment and our department.

On a more serious note, let’s talk about real tigers out there. For your information (if you haven’t already know), we don’t have tigers in the wild in Sabah (but we have in the Lokawi Wildlife Park lah). Sarawak doesn’t have tigers too. Tigers in Malaysia are mainly found in Kelantan, Terengganu, Perak and Pahang.

According to WWF-Malaysia, there are several threats faced by tigers. The main ones are hunting/poaching/illegal trade, habitat and prey loss and also conflict with humans. With all the threats and pressures from all sides, there is absolutely a serious and urgent need to protect these amazing creatures. Do you realise tigers are used in our national emblem? They symbolise strength and courage.
